Misted double glazing
When the seal on a double-glazed unit fails, moisture gets between the panes and the window mists up. No amount of wiping will clear it, because the condensation is inside the glass. The frame is usually fine, so we measure and replace just the sealed unit, giving you clear glass again without the cost of a new window.

Frequently asked questions
Do you repair windows and doors fitted by other companies?
Yes. We repair uPVC, aluminium and timber windows and doors of any make, whoever fitted them.
Can you fix double glazing that has misted up?
Yes. Misting means the seal on the double-glazed unit has failed. We replace the sealed unit, and in most cases the existing frame stays in place.
My window handle is broken. Do I need a new window?
No. A broken or stiff window handle can be replaced on its own. If the fault is in the locking mechanism behind the handle, we can repair or replace that too.
Why won’t my front door lock?
The most common reason is that the door has dropped or moved slightly, so the lock no longer lines up with the frame. Realigning the door often solves it. If the lock itself is worn, we can replace it.
Can you stop draughty windows?
Usually, yes. Draughts tend to come from worn seals or a window that no longer closes tightly. Replacing the seals or adjusting the hinges normally stops them.
